About
I am an experienced Integrative Therapist using the theories of Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Existential thinking with an element of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This enables you, as the client, to guide the sessions to suit your personal needs, as well as being able to look at past experiences and explore your current thoughts and feelings.
The fusion of these differing modalities has formed a contemporary, flexible and non-biased approach to counselling.
Sometimes life can present us with things that we feel unable to deal with that can leave us feeling anxious, depressed, lacking in self-esteem and many more varied emotions. Within a safe and confidential environment I will support you 1:1 through your self exploration and help you to gain confidence in your own abilities. We will work in a collaborative, empathic and caring partnership, looking at your past, your relationships, behaviours and habits, gently challenging and seeking a deeper sense of self. Allowing for the possibility of change will help to give you back control over your anxieties and move forward with a more positive sense of self.

Your First Session
What to expect from a First Session:
When you contact me, we will arrange an initial session to discuss why counselling feels right for you at this time. We will go over the Client Agreement which explains in more detail the counselling relationship, fees and confidentiality. We can then arrange the next steps.
For clients under the age of 18 the parent/carer will also be asked to sign the Client Agreement, however the content of the sessions will remain confidential to the client.
Sessions:
We will meet once a week, at the agreed time, for a 50 minute session.
I offer both long and short term counselling depending on the individual. We will review this between us as and when is necessary.
I have availability for daytime and evening sessions.
Fees:
For a 50 minute session the fee is £50 for talking therapy and £55 for Art based therapy. I have spaces for students and concessions which can be discussed when arranging an initial meeting. Thank you.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding your therapy concerns.
